Ridge Park College
Admissions Policy
Admission Policy
Ridge Park College has always been proud to provide access to a quality education for all pupils on merit. We would love to accept all learners who apply to our school but this is not practically possible.
The Admission Policy of Ridge Park College is determined by the Governing Body in terms of Section 5(5) of the South African Schools Act, 1996 (no.84 of 1996) and is consistent with the Government Gazette Notice 2432 of 1998 with regard to the Admission Policy for Ordinary Public Schools.
Ridge Park College caters firstly for learners for whom Ridge Park College is the nearest Public School. More applications are received than the school can accommodate and therefore our application closing dates have to be strictly adhered to.
Application Forms can be obtained from the Admission Secretary after our general Open Day held annually in March
Learners, for whom Ridge Park College is not the closest Public School, must make timeous application to their closest Public School as there are limited places at Ridge Park College for these learners.
The Official Language of Learning and teaching is English.
