Netball

A fast and exciting game that requires teamwork, quick thinking, and skill. Each team has 7 players on the court, passing the ball to score goals while following specific movement rules.

Volleyball

A fun and energetic game where 6 players per team work together to hit the ball over the net, aiming to score points by getting it to land in the opponent's court.

Soccer

The world’s most popular sport! Played with 11 players per team, the goal is simple—kick the ball into the net while using teamwork, strategy, and skill.

Swimming

Whether sprinting through the water or competing in a relay with 4 teammates, swimming is all about endurance, speed, and mastering different strokes like freestyle and backstroke.

Athletics

A mix of running, jumping, and throwing events that test speed, strength, and stamina. Some events are solo, while others, like relays, have teams of 4 runners passing the baton.

Hockey

A fast-moving game played with 11 players per team, using sticks to pass the ball and score goals. It’s all about speed, skill, and teamwork on the field.

History of the school
Ridge Park College ex-Windermere Girls’ High was originally located at Greyville Racecourse. In 1969, the Standard 6 learners were relocated to the current site at 399 Ridge Road, which was then the Berea Nursing Home. Rather than moving into the nursing home itself, they were accommodated in prefabricated classrooms situated where the present-day tennis and volleyball courts now stand.
